I assume you're talking about TBI solicitors? F&F is very complex, and you need to make sure that any agreement is with the original creditor or current owner of a properly assigned debt. The solicitors will not own the debt I doubt, merely take payments for whoever does, so offer F&F to the debt owner and don't pay a penny until you have everything agreed in writing from them.

It depends on what other debts you might have, the amount of money you have to offer all of your creditors with the largest debt being given the largest payment.

And whether these have been messing you about as to whether you want to rock the boat, so to speak, here's some reading you might like to do before making them an offer.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

IMO if you have a number of creditors then they should all get an offer of F&F settlement and each a slice of the cake, as it were.

However, if you can't realistically raise an amount substantial enough to offer all your creditors a F&F, then yes agreed it is pretty pointless, however bear in mind that they might possibly want to know how you managed to offer one a F&F and not the rest, not that it's any of their business of course!

Is this the lowest debt you have?
