Has anyone had success capitalising their arrears with Capstone. And if so how easy/difficult/expensive is it?

We've curently got about £3k arrears on a £224k interest only mortgage which Capsone are letting us pay off at +£100 each month, and we've been doing this for about 18 months.

I was happy with the arrangement, but it is really mucking up our credit rating as our credit report shows us over 6 months in arrears with mortgage payments, even tough we have an arrangement.

Only really worried now as our 11 year old car may need replacing soon, and I don't think we'd get a loan with the current credit score.

They told me the same thing, we cannot increase the balance of the loan as we are not the owners of the debt but the adminstrators, they put far more on the balance in fines and charges than capitalisation of arrears would have done.
