Hi, this is complicated! :-)

I work at a call centre that provides call centre services to the local NHS. Unfortunately, the contract has been terminated by the NHS PCT and our employment contracts are due to be transferred to the NHS PCT. Once we have been transferred, the PCT will decide whether we are needed. If not, we will be made redundant.

The twist is that company that I currently work for has just won a contract to provide the same, call centre services to a different area in the country. Now, the company will have to employ people in the new area to fulfil the contract. Due to the call centre technology, it would be perfectly possible for the company to fulfil the new contract from the existing location. Therefore could myself and my colleagues refuse to be transferred to the NHS and provide call handling services to the new area, from the current location. Phew!

Thanks in anticipation!
