Hello everyone.

Just a quick question for now. Ive received a letter from Lowell Financial about an old debt (under 6 years old). I will be posting another thread requesting help in dealing with them.

For now Im just curious as to whether communicating with them (or any DCA for that matter), via email is advisable? Is it the same as regular written communication? Lowell have an email address which is why Im asking.

thank you

Personally, I never deal with any of these **** via email. The reason being that if it comes to court proceedings then there is every chance they will use the ability to email you to dump stuff on you right at the last minute. Plus, for the same reasons, you never know who that email address is going to be passed on to, be it DCA pondlife or solicitors.

Similarly faxing, although that can be more anonymous than email if you don't give a fax source/return number.

If you do decide to email the enemy, make it quite clear that you do not accept service of documents by email or fax.

Cheers

Rob

The only way they should be communicated with is through a medium.

Are you volunteering to do the deed which will enable us to communicate with them that way?

Cheers
