Hi ive started a thread in the Abbey bank section but wasnt sure if it should be in this one? Could a mod move if appropriate please.

Not really sure the best way for you to go on this one M.

I do know that overdrafts are not covered by the CCA 1974 though.

If it was me I'd try and get some sort agreement to pay it off in place with them. Do it in writing though, not on the phone.

Thanks for the reply Jed. The thing is i do degrudge paying these robbing lot £1600 for nothing! £900 was charges they put on hold then £700 ish other charges because this was awaiting the outcome of the high court ruling. Thats alot of money for nothing!!

Have a dig around M for info on reclaiming charges, I think its still possible one way or another.

I did it years ago and got £800 off them, but that was before the court case.
