You know when it was sent - allow time for them to receive it (1-2 days max). Assuming you used the standard DPA letter, mentioning 40 days, there is no need for a reminder. If they miss the deadline - report them.

i have received my reply today

here is the letter word for word

Account Charges

Dear Mr ***********

You have requested a copy of duplicate statements for the past 6 years. There is a charge of £5 for duplicate statements however, in the interest of customer service, i have enclosed a list of bank charges which have been applied to your account since 2000.

The information enclosed has been provided informally and free of charge. If you still require statements from the date quoted above, please let me know aqs soon as possible.

Turning to your request for a list of all the members of staff that have manually intervened on your account. Unfortunately, an investigation of this kind would involve a dispropotionate effort and HBoS plc is not legally obliged to supply this information.

Yours sincerely

i am just wondering how other people received their information

the info i received came by normal post and has royal mail tape on it stating

"found open or damaged and officially secured"

now i have found that there are a few sheets missing, i find this very worrying as pages inside clearly show;

my full name

my previous address's

my current address

my date of birth

my phone number

when my account was opened

my account no.

my roll no.

my sort code

my local branch

my mothers maiden name

my employers name and address & phone number

all my direct debits

all my external payments

my banking history for the last 6 years

am i right in thinking that this is a bit worrying

ash.

I think that if you can show that the package was not adequate that this iteslf is a matter for complaint.

Are you still with the bank? i would start off by insisting on a new account number, card and everything which relates to your account.
