Hi

When this appears on the top of a letter what does it mean? Does it mean it can't be used in court? Should I put it on the top of a full and final settlement offer letter?

Thanks

Yes unless its a response to a Part 36 Offer.

Regards

Andy

Great thanks, it's just in response to a we could offer you a discount letter. They have produced an unenforecable agreement (no prescribed terms) so I am just replying to that offering a small percentage as they have no enforecable agreement.

Ok I see you mean the "we are desperate as we dont have an enforcable agreement so please pay us something and we promise not to instigate litigation ( but beware if not F/F/S they will be back for the balance) letter:D

In that case I would not advocate offering anything, leave it in the bank and take up fishing till a summons is recieved if ever.Just my opinion.;) Guard that letter though may be useful
