I apologise for the shouting....

STOP TALKING TO THEM ON THE PHONE.....

:-D :-D

Dont go through security with them, if they phone pick it up say in writing and put it back down again. They'll tell you the moon is made of cheese if it gets money off of you.. Fact is they cant take your house without first getting a CCJ and then getting a judge to agree to a charging order and then getting him to agree to a forced sale order if they want to kick you out of the house.

Simples!

Thanks....I forgive the shouting, it must get frustrating.:)

Not at all, its just they will attempt to upset you, they will hassle you, they will lie.... on the phone............

The written word protects you and gives you longer to react than a phone call, hence why they dont like to do it.

They are trying to panic you - the onus is on THEM to produce the information for the CCA, they will need it as part of their court claim. You now have the perfect defence that you have sent the CCA request on XXX date, and to the date of the court claim (should it materialise) none had been received, therefore the alleged debt was in dispute and no cause for claim has been proven - they MAY have an application form but that is insufficient for a court claim.

If your husband can change his mobile phone no then he should do so, and if possible put a block on their number.

Thank you:)

Shall I send letter 13 or 20? becuase they did write and advise we would have to apply to MBNA for the CCA. This was a Credit card taken out with Abbey, underwritten by MBNA (which we did not know ) and then AIC are acting as agents to collect the debt. So confusing:confused:

I feel like a pest x
