Arrow Global have credit searched me!!

I had a case with Arrow Global that I successfully defended.

 

But I have just found out that the cheeky b******* credit searched me last year.

 

Is this legal?

I'm certain it isn't

does it state

outstanding debt as a reason for the serch or is it just an opt in

Its states "unclassified"

It's under "other searches" which is for purposes other than credit applications.

Still don't seem right to me though!

However, do I leave the 6 specific reasons or just erase the ones that don't apply.

 

Also, this seems to be suggesting that I actually owed Global debt. I didnt, they were trying to get a CCJ for a debt that didnt exist.

 

I believe they were searching to try and see if I was actually paying the supposed debt to anyone, which of course, I wasn't

 

That would seem illegal to me, so is this still the best course of action?

Just remove the details that don't apply.

 

For whatever reason they were searching your file the don't have your permission. you should make a complaint to the ICO too; https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx
