Hi

I got my Halifax Credit card about 8 years ago. I owe a couple of grand on it. They regularly increase my limit. I am wondering if I write to them asking if they could send me a copy of my CCA and they don't have it will I not have to pay? I have heard this is the case for Bank Loans if the loan was taken before 2004 & am wondering if it is the same for credit cards?

Hi,

You can ask for your CCA at any time, letter 'N' in this link..........

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general-debt-issues/20758-creditors-dcas-letter-templates.html

Send recorded with a £1 postal order and don't sign it.

Regards.

Scott.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)
