DCA letters

Now five have been received and returned as they are sending to someone who does not reside at our address. When will they stop and it is now becoming annoying to say the least to keep sending them back marked - does not live here, never lived here, wrong address etc.

 

Any thoughts anyone.

I wouldnt bother sending them back personally as the DCA will just think that they have the right person who is trying to avoid them.

Simply bin them in future.

We certainly do not want any further aggro from these people, what next with them. They have been told that the person does not reside at our address and never has either.

Stop talking to them on the phone if thats what you are doing.

DCA's do not care 1 way or the other & just want a payment.

Report them to the OFT & trading standards if need be.

Thankfully had no phone calls from them as ex directory so they cannot get our number.

 

Would not speak to them anyway.

They have been told that the person does not reside at our address and never has either.

If that's the case then I would give Trading Standards a phone and they should contact the DCA on your behalf telling them to not send you any further letters. Do make that complaint to the OFT as well though.

I feel that if another letter arrives a stiff reply from my solicitor will be in order.

 

Feel that as they do not have our telephone number that this is annoying them as they cannot subject us to their verbal abuse.
