Hi there

I've been reading with interest various threads on here regarding debt with home shopping companies that is passed in hour onto NDR but am just a little bit unclear.

I owe around £450 to Littlewoods, which for the past year or so has been floating around with NDR - with charges of course being added on.

Ok - so I rightfully do owe the money, and was quite good on keeping up the payments to Littlewoods until I changed jobs and had to move and - well we all go through tight times!

Anyway, I did make a one of payment quite a few months ago to shut them up for a while of I think between £50 and £100 - when they wanted me to pay £90 a month to clear the debt.

But now I really can not stretch to that much.

How can I make them a written offer, I've come across several addresses for them, I don't want to call as they just try and talk you into paying a much higher amount, I'm thinking of like a fiver a month!

Or is this CCA business a loop hole out of the debt?!

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi josh, personally I would send NDR a request for a cca. It costs a quid and you never know. ;)

When was the account started roughly and was it online or post/phone etc.

Ps its probable that what they claim you owe is made up of penalty charges.

Also dont think "ok I rightfully owe it", think "do they have a legal right to collect it".

Hi there, many thanks for your reply and advice!

The account was started around 2006 and was done online.

And I think you are right, well i think about £300 was debt I owed but it has slowly crept up.

Does anyone have the correct address for NDR, I've come across a handful already!
