The letters follow the predictable trail from the PPC to the DCA and in this case from NCP to Roxburghe to Graham White.

It always amuses me when the 'final' then 'final final' then 'final final final' letter sequence happens. The letters become more threatening with the amounts 'owed' increasing but nevertheless illustrates how desperate they become for your money.

Anyhow Larry its the end of the line for you now i believe:)

Thanks guys! Yes I have received 2 letters from The solicitors... so I'm hoping that's the end of it. :)

If only more people knew how to deal with this sort of thing, these types of intimidating practices would surely fade out and be replaced with fairer, clearer systems.

Yes.

G&M is correct, but it should be added that it is a VERY infrequent event compared with the number of items of confetti that the PPC's distribute. At a guess, possibly about 1 in 10000 will ever see court at the moment.

Judging from results posted on forums and in the press, they rarely win or even bother to turn up when presented with a good defence. There have been one or two successes for the PPC's which the PPC's try and use to show precedent, which is also a lie because they were heard in small claims.

MBNA - Agreed to refund £970 in full without conditions. Cheque received Sat 5th Aug.:D

Lloyds - Settled for an undisclosed sum.:D

No known case of a PPC going to court when the PPC has been ignored from the outset. Only a very few risk court, lots of losses for the PPCs (e.g. we all known the Excel case). the most active seem to specialise in trapping people on internet forums. My opinion is never contact the PPC and as per the sticky never give out explicit details.
