Hope you have cancelled the SO now scott :)

 

I have :rolleyes: I did'nt have a scooby, BOS had anything to do with this debt, on my Credit File it only mentions Cabot and MBNA.

 

I nearly fell of my chair when the guy said, we'll use it to to reduce the balance on your other debt.

Four or five, I think.

This was towards a debt with BOS Visa, when I won my claim, I paid the remainder off.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

Sent letter to BOS regarding overpayment and Cabot's non-complience of CCA request, telling them they cannot keep my £100 overpayment as they so arrogantly, told me they could.

 

Received letter Today 18th June, 6 weeks after I paid off my debt, from Blair Oliver and Scott.

 

Dear Maroondevo52,

 

We write to inform you that the above noted account has been fully repaid.

 

This means that you should immedietly.

 

(a) Cease making payments to this account; and

 

(b) Cancel any existing standing order in favour of this account.

 

If there are any overpaid funds, these will be repaid to you. however, failure to take the actions above could result in a delay to the refund.

 

Our client has made arrangements for the account to be closed and the Credit Reference Agencies to be updated as appropriate.

 

Thank you for your co-operation.

 

 

So, looks like a result to me :) Still no refund but I've got a feeling it's on it's way ;)

Just checked my Credit File to see if they had marked it 'satisfied' as they promised.

 

No, unbelievably they have updated it with an outstanding balace of £100

Their at the lash !!!!( that'll be the £100 they are due me)

 

Will be on the phone to them tomorrow, see if we can sort it out :mad:

Received Cheque today for my overpaid £100 :)

 

They appologised for the mistake in updating my Credit File, and will sort it in the next couple of days :rolleyes:
