Welcome to the site.

You have taken the first step which i think is the hardest. Read around on the forums, you are not alone lots of people feel the same.

You will get your money back if you follow the procedures on here.

Good luck and welcome again.

I was sceptical at first but I have so far been given about £500 in refunds. Not the full amounts but it shows it works. I belive the total refunded to people on this site so far is over £800,000!!!

Start your own thread in the relevant section for your bank and if you have any questions they should be answered fairly quickly.

Welcome,

Don't be scared; read the forums and the faqs and you'll realise it's a simple, lawful and just process. A small bit of perserverance on your part and you *will* get the cash back.

Just keep remembering this - the bank is in the wrong and they know it. Everything they do and say will be designed to make you think the opposite, but you know the truth. It's your money. They stole it from you. You're gonna get it back!

Good luck!

A&L: Settled - £6,200

HFC: Settled - £800

Shell Visa: Settled - £250

Mint: Settled - £1200

RBS: Settled - £850

hi all a quick question.

we have been in havin money trouble for a while! and we have made payment arrangements with cards from other banks and hsbc (in hsbands name) just to live.

so far have only sent dpa for my name and accounts.

Does anyone know or had similar experience.

If we send for dpa for his cards. will they or can they change our payment agreements?

as we could never afford to pay minimum payments or worse it all back. (new baby etc)

or should i stick with plan and claim on mine and pay off some of his debts and then claim of his. :???:

Try not to worry about the process, if in doubt at any stage post up your questions and we will all try and help. I know how daunting it can seem but you will be ok.

After reading about all of the claims on the site, by now if the banks thought they weren't in the wrong they would have defended their case and put a stop to all of these claims.
