But, isnt the charges being reduced (although not enough) at least pointing in the right direction. also if one is starting to do it maybe others will follow. and as this site is showing the people do have a voice and can use it.. If they change one thing.............
  5. didnt quite know where to put this as so here it is just had a automated letter from barclaycard stateing default charges will reduce as follows: £12 if you do not make at least min payment by due date 12, if you exceed credit limit, 12 if, dd cheque or other item get returned. wouldnt it be nice if banks will follow? hadnt sent dpa to these, but in view of this think i will now. sorry if this is in wrong bit am new to this!!!
  6. hi all a quick question. we have been in havin money trouble for a while! and we have made payment arrangements with cards from other banks and hsbc (in hsbands name) just to live. so far have only sent dpa for my name and accounts. Does anyone know or had similar experience. If we send for dpa for his cards. will they or can they change our payment agreements? as we could never afford to pay minimum payments or worse it all back. (new baby etc) or should i stick with plan and claim on mine and pay off some of his debts and then claim of his.
