  1. So when are we gonna see a bunch of CAG chatrooms?
  2. I did not have the pleasure of communicating with Martin3030 but know, in connection with my research into consumer fraud and abuse at the hands of the banks/institutions, that all of us benefited by his dedication but above all, his foresight. He saw, understood, interpreted and exploited the web for the benefit of forum users worldwide. His loss will be felt by all but I have no doubt that we can all gain some comfort from the legacy he helped evolved, the Consumer Action Group.
  3. I would like to make use of the webmail facility but whenever i try to log in , i get an error message, username or password not recognised. User name & my password are correct. Any idea`s? Middxx
  4. This isnt really a Pay Day loan issue - however loan sharking is as big a problem. LoanSharkNews Follow the link to have your say in how loan sharks cash is spent in Birmingham! Voting closes Friday 30th November - so please even if you dont live in Birmingham - vote surveymonkey.com/s/loansharkmed…
  5. I have just had to change my deodorant as I have realised that out of the 16 friends I have on CAG, only 4 of them are still active users. It must be me. I am now on the hunt for new ones. Just send me a request, or sign below.
  6. First visit to CAG, I got here via an email link and got engrossed in some of the parking issues. Seems there are a lot of bandits around so best to have some friends. Also I read a post about being overpaid at work and was heartened by the number of forum viewers advocating honesty as the best policy. Hopefully I won't need the services too often:-)
  7. Has anyone else come accross the following campaign that pops up while on CAG forum? Does anyone know who can be credited for the campaign? Vodafone, ICO or CAG ''Vodafone and your credit file We are getting a disproportionatenumber of complaints that Vodafone is damaging people's credit files throughcarelessness and poor systems. If you have suffered as a result of inaccurate data being entered onto your creditfile then you are not alone. You should make an immediate written complaint to the:- Information Commissioner'sOffice Wycliffe House Water Lane Wilmslow Cheshire SK9 5AF or call the Information Commissioner on 01625 545745 The more official pressure which is put on Vodafone, the more likely they areto sort their systems out.''
  8. Got a Samsung Galaxy S3 and tried to scan the square barcode thing for mobile CAG. My phone says it doesn't support this type of code, although it has worked on others I have tried in newspapers, mags etc. Any Scooby Doos anyone?

  10. Well hello there everyone, My names Jason, Im 19 Years younge I have a partner in crime And a 3 year old Girl, and another soon to grace the world with crys. I joined this forum for some extra help (if and when needed) for my own personnel debt, also i would like to help people with there problems with my own experiences, i know most people on here arnt Qualified, thats the fun part. I think being in debt isnt as bad as it seems, the only reason anyone worries is because of those pesky letters marked "IMMEDIATE PAYMENT REQUIRED" or the world is going to end for some unexplained reason, anyway thats my rant done! My point is im here to help anyone with anything, even with reasearch or advice from my point of view, so i hope to speak to you around the Forum PS: Thanks for having me
  11. It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing away of CAG member Docman. Docman was a veteran of more than 5 years joining the CAG in March 2007. He was a valued contributor to many facing issues with HFO /TR / HSBC and Nationwide which were amongst those of his own battles. The loss of a member with so much experience and knowledge, leaves a void for all those who knew him. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...?144299-Docman
  12. Hello, This post I've moved from the Bailiff & Court section. Arrow Global purchased a delinquent debt from Nationwide going back to 1999, and have worked in conjunction with their letterheads-for-hire lawyers Shoosmiths in bringing about a CCJ against me which was granted last month by Northampton BCC. The CCJ was granted BY DEFAULT because I did not mount a defence at the time, because I was given to understand that the case would be passed to my local court at which time I would then mount my defence (which is a robust one, as Arrow Global have NOT sent me a copy of the original credit agreement, which I have been asking for since the summer). Therefore the CCJ has been awarded to the Claimant Arrow Global, in the absence of any credit agreement (I have a letter from Arrow saying that they will try to find it for me; this letter is dated 23rd November, and the Judgment is dated 5th December!) The debt is for approx. £8,600. Two days ago I sent my Witness Statement (together with my bundle including Exhibits A - T) to Northampton together with my N244 in attempt to set aside the CCJ. Now I get a letter saying that the case has been transferred to Norwich CC for enforcement! Arrow/Shoosmiths are therefore trying to get an Enforcement order on a Judgment which was gained without them ever having shown me the original credit agreement, as I have asked in accordance with my rights under the CCA. So what on earth am I to do now? Thanks in advance - I need help on this one! sarah.
