Counseling as a service does not exist on the NHS as such! What exist now is on the NHS for treatment is now only IAPT. That's it! How counseling works is that Counseling Collectives are formed that bid for the NHS GP Counseling contracts. Same for alcohol, drugs and even blood tests. The fact that your counseling is taking place in your GP Practice indicates that it is that Counseling collective has won the contract at your practice. Although some specialise - do you not think that their general counseling skills or commitment too you will be fine? This is mine at present and these folks hold the Counseling Contracts for all GP in my NHS area since October 2012 http://www.theawarenesscentre.com/ They specialise in sweaty yoga (Bikram) ooooh! Counseling service is great though! I've been with them since April 2012 and have had my current counselor there in weekly sessions since July 2012. There has been no breach of data protection as you will have to opt in to the service! They will have absolutely non of your GP records! Probably not even access to them until you opt in. So what exactly is your problem? I will politely suggest you do some research into counseling (it's various styles) and what you have to put into it to get the most out of it. Have a read of the NICE website http://www.nice.org.uk/ for treatment options, your rights and what you should be told.
2. I'm just trying to dissuade the most established and esteemed poster who is held in high reverence and is abusing their station by the use of comedical embarrassment! How about a disability awareness course followed by the fact the Daily Fail is not always true course? I'll agree to go on a think before you drink n post course in return! My spearmint n sugar penguins are melting into tasty bourbon mint juleps: 1st world problems that are tasty
3. Rules apply for goose as well as the gander! Not the 1st time (but hopefully the last) site admins have trolled the benefits board with political opinionated [naughty word]! Admins should be a neutral impartial decider of fact which can be quite factious on here! Not just some pure statement of assumption, bias, I read the daily fail and I can get away with it because I'm site team! End of! Thank god I'm enjoying my mint juleps tonight or I'd really kick off! This one has previous and I'm squiffed and wordy atm! Come on Wadey ya mad bi polar darts playing god! He's doing the walk on girl as well if the naked twitter pick id to believed. He's not as bouncy (well he probably is latter) for his darts
4. Have you considered nicotine replacement therapy or Valium? I've never ever stalked anybody on here but have incidentally come across your posts! How about a lovely fag? You know it makes sense! Or a bit of meditation? A nice massage? I'll even pay!
5. Sorry ignore my post! I'm a bit squiffed really should put on the darts n eat me tea! My last post is what I'm seeing on social/legal advice sites for the introduction of UC! I'll bugger off
6. 8 week payment to landlord tactic :ninja: There is still the mechanism to switch UC payments from claimant to landlord if there is 8 weeks of arrears. Expect unofficial under the counter advice to be; 1, put 8 weeks rent into a bank account 2, we as social landlord will make application for direct payment. 3, pay us 8 weeks saved or use as an interest free loan with monthly repayments! 4, que taking the **** bailiffs, WONGA, loan sharks and mass homelessness. Ah but that homelessness will be classed as voluntary so Council will tell you to bugger off!
7. Just to cap it off DWP guide to overpayment recovery I'm calling it a night! Bourbon and spearmint sugar mix is freezing in my penguin shaped ice cube tray! Mint Juleps
8. Might add this in as well http://www.dwp.gov.uk/docs/dmgch42.pdf Chapter 42 - Limited Capability for Work and Limited Capability for Work-Related Activity Bit of a monster read but...... Has loads of examples on just about everything ESA. Almost if not all ESA scenarios from Mail not turning up - to how to be classed as not participating in a WCA. It's got the lot tbf.
9. How long ago was the GP Practice change? As it can take up to 13 weeks for the Patient records to transfer over. Be warned that these are sent as a paper copy to the new GP Practice then filed away. Have you considered viewing them and then getting a full paper copy? Costs £10 for a copy and the viewing is free. I use a version of this letter - just modify it to your needs see this thread http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?370178-NHS-SAR-template-and-info It maybe better/quicker to approach the old GP Practice manager for this especially the copy. You could also ask your current GP Practice manager to keep an eye out and notify you when they arrive so you can view them! Then if you need anything just ask for a copy of bits n pieces. You could also approach your current GP Practice manager for advice on how to deal with this. Although I suspect that it will be only your old GP Practice manager who will be able to get a GP from the old practice to write a note for the period. PALS might be able to help but they will expect you to have made an attempt in writing to resolve this before they will get involved. There's absolutely no harm in contacting PALS before you do anything for their advice. I've found them quite friendly and helpful.
10. Anything for you HB May as well join up this to this post on UC too Advice for Decision Making on all benefits introduced April 2013 http://www.dwp.gov.uk/publications/specialist-guides/advice-for-decision-making/ Basically everything you need to study up on!
11. There's different rules for 1st n 2nd class mail and assumed receipt. There's even the rule that where evidence of postage is not recorded then 2nd class is assumed in all cases. There will also be the actual envelope that will be stamped or franked as 2nd class. So your above example is complete scare mongering [naughty word] tbf

13. Right lets post up some details. How to apply for UC online https://www.gov.uk/apply-universal-credit Note That seams to me to be a long time! Advice for Decision Making on all benefits introduced April 2013 http://www.dwp.gov.uk/publications/specialist-guides/advice-for-decision-making/ Basically everything you need to study up on!
14. Meat is a minimum of £3 a portion if you want non..... water added tumbled, slat added, protein added etc junk. A pork chop that is 80% pork???? wtf??? It's why I buy form farmers market stalls. I buy all goods form Lidl and save 50p to £1 an item so...... put that towards my meat! Same price but the quality I get is.... simple!
15. Nail head! I've taught myself to cook 3 times last year. Thai Jasmine fragrant rice (boiled with any combo of cumin, cloves, turmeric, ginger, garlic, coconut, cinnamon, veg/chicken/beaf/pork/duck stock) with some frozen peas/sweetcorn mixed in once cooked is tasty! Takes 20 mins and is all in one pan too! I've moved on to couscous, pasta, brown rice n seasoning with oils although this is still a vision when I can actually cook tbf! £1 a day can be done but only with the spices/etc to make things interesting!
16. kids today and I'm only 40 Monty Python; Scott of the Sahara explains some of it... maybe..
17. Where's the organic brown basmati rice, cocaine, midget pre op TV hookers and the Knightrider completely digitally remastered Bluray box set? They never think of these things nor Giraffes! When was the last time you saw the Daily Fail get Indignatious about them foreigners/disabled/scroungers (delete as appropriate) nipping to the supermarket on the back of a 60 foot electric nuclear penguin eh? Priorities people!
18. estellyn you not keeping up with things again? http://www.computerworlduk.com/news/public-sector/3444637/universal-credit-goes-livein-one-areafor-300-people/?olo=rss http://www.computerworlduk.com/news/public-sector/3434658/universal-credit-calculations-will-use-spreadsheets-in-early-rollout/?intcmp=in_article;related We all live in a Yellow submarine! A yellow submarine.., a yellow submarine
19. Well if it's anything like this online service About this service You can only use this service for: Attendance Allowance (AA) Disability Living Allowance (DLA adult and child) Overseas State Pension – if you are a non-UK resident (including Channel Islands). http://www.dwp.gov.uk/eservice/need.asp Seriously? No I mean seriously? Come on now
20. Sounds like 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other tbf with the GP. You're after a Med Cert she does not have to supply so.... As for the medication issue your 1st port of call with any issue is the practice manager. Ask politely in a letter for an explanation of why your meds have been dropped! If still unhappy request mediation and/or a second opinion on this from a 2nd GP via the practice manager.
21. Well that all looks a lot better and since you can prove that you have reported issues with post, coupled with the lack of telephone calls (although this is a minor issue as they are a courtesy. Only the letters have to be legally sent) and the fact that you replied to the only letter you had promptly (plus everything else you have now done) all looks good. I'd collate what you have now and send that in and say that you have made a request to the post office for further information. BUT the evidence you have should be sufficient even without that so you wish a decision now. The DM trying to shift responsibility to you and reaffirming the argument we sent them and you received one so... that's the worrying part especially as the rightsnet thread say they know a tribunal should rule in your favour with the evidence you have. So let's hope that the DM sees sense and apply the rules correctly. Remember too this will take time and there's still the chance it will not go in your favour even with all this. Sorry to be a bit of a damp squib but.... you have to be prepared for that! So continue pushing for that WCA just in case and the stuff with your MPs. Now we still have your day to day issues. So get that food parcel etc off the Council. - you're not receiving benefits at this point so do it! If the recon goes in you favour then hit the DWP for a ST benefits advance. Also investigate the GP/medical care side of things as they might be able to get you access to a food bank or know of other help available. Everything is worth a shot here. You should go and see your GP anyway as a precaution before any WCA! Since there's always the chance you will fail the WCA (even death is no guard against being declared Fit For Work (sic)) Seeing them before hand and updating them on your condition so that they have a current point of reference makes it easier for them to write a new fitnote/MED 3. Especially since it usually takes at least 2 weeks for the DWP decision and your GP will have to back date the fitnote to the date of failure. GPs are under pressure not to backdate so doing this as a precaution makes it far easier trust me. Now with what you are going to send to the DM remember at the top of every sheet of paper you send in mark it thus; Name: XXXXXXXXXX ESA NI No:XXXXXXXXX - Date: XX/XX/XX Page No:X Include a list of what you have enclosed referenced by page No: I think that's it. Now go get em tiger
22. Well I know less about that than this. Others will be alone to help so do some reading until then. Time for me to prepare for counseling.
23. Now that's got to be the understatement of the century! As for complaints all in good time my fine fellow. You need to focus on the important here and now for the time being! No distractions it's about trying to get you a bit of support and safety. To that end is there a GP or somebody caring for you say CMHT/Social Worker you can approach for help as well? They may be able to help with getting access to care to get you through (counseling etc) and services; charity, food bank or even Council ones! Just keep updating that time line with what is happening. It's far easier to show people on paper in writing what's going on, plus once you're secure and all the information is in then! and only then! it's complaints ahoy me hearty!
24. I'll repeat my advice in my last post 33 Now keep going with 1 but move 2 to a must do today. The reason we didn't advise going for a ST Benefit advance as we didn't think you were receiving benefits. We hoped you were but.... There a lot of info in this sticky on what the Council DWP can provide and how to apply for it. Your local council should have info specific to their schemes. So worth a look. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?388866-Amendments-to-the-Social-Fund-2013(1-Viewing)-nbsp Now keep updating that time line of events in 3 as once you get 1 and 2 sorted you can work on the complaints. You can't proceed with these until really after you get the SAR back which can take 40 days. So keep on top of it and put a diary date in so that you don't forget. Remember too you can also use all of this plus the information in the SAR to add stuff into your appeal. You have until 2 weeks before it's listed so there's no immediate rush. Sort out 1 and 2 1st. Now this time line can be used now to help with getting help off the MP These 2 fact sheets may also help to explain what has happened and what should happen next often an MP (and yourself) need a bit of help understanding the process and what happens. http://www.cpag.org.uk/content/esa-repeat-claims-and-appeals http://www.newcastle.gov.uk/benefits-and-council-tax/welfare-rights-and-money-advice/employment-and-support-allowance-sanctions- Remember keep it short sweet and to the point. So 1, brief explanation of your situation, 2, time line of events, 3, what help you would like and 4, what the consequences could be if you do not get help. The complaints/appeal will be the same except replace 3 & 4 with explaining why their decision was wrong. I've got counseling today so I'll be in no condition except maybe watching football later.
25. I'm still having issues here! Do I smoke this like a normal cig? I'm just taking a double 10 sec toke or 2 every hour or so. Should I go to a higher strength liquid 24/26mg then drop it down to 16/18 then less? Help!
