  1. When my windscreen was hit by a stone and needed replacing, the Insurance company insisted on using third-party glass and fitters. Volvo states that non-OEM glass will potentially compromise the function of about 20 safety systems and warranty claims because of non-OEM glass replacement will be invalidated. My reaction to the insistence on third party suppliers is that it represents unfair contract terms. Despite the small print that no-one reads, my understanding was that my car insurance policy contract should put me in the same position as I was prior to the damage and not compromise my or passengers' safety or invalidate parts of the m

  3. CPR/PAP are designed for ALL county court claims. sadly on speculative invoices an utter waste of time and more importantly.... simply done to find out the possible contents of your witness statement should it ever get that far if it goes to court. and to get you to dob yourself in as the driver. FATAL under pofa2012. there's zero evidence of any judge on any PPC Court claim ever saying i'll make you pay more because you refused CPR/PAP/Mediation. dx

  5. I've just looked at the route I took on Google Street View. There is a sign saying 2 hours free stay (no terms and conditions here) and an anpr camera on the slip road off the motorway. I didn't even see this, would certainly not be able to stop and read it properly. I didn't enter the car park I went straight past it to the petrol station where there are no signs. The terms and conditions are in the big car park that I didn't enter. I don't know how I would have paid as the details are in the main car park and I could only rejoin the motorway as its a 1 way system. Also don't you get 5 min and 10 mins grace when

  9. found myself running around in circles somewhat here - theres so much smoke, so I started pasting and editing bits about who dun what when - for what its worth There are clearly answers needed from before/during the PO split with RM but .... In addition to EVERY minister and senior civil servant with a PO remit since at least 2008: Sir Donald Brydon Post Office chair 2009-2011; Royal Mail chair until 2015 Sir Donald Brydon The former Barclays banker replaced Allan Leighton as chair just as the Horizon scandal was becoming public. The examples here are not an exact match for your case but will give you an idea of the format/ layout. You will see it is important to be clear about what happened when, an the sequence of events.

  11. normally comes in 2 bits from 2 diff depts i know this thread is long an incredibly tedious as the user ....well ill say no more but it explaims many things you need to know like old outsourced agencies. TBH 9/10 for a debt of that age they have no data.. simply a line from one of these external auditors that say £xxx owed. doesnt mean you owe anything. if HMRC cannot show the ACTUAL DATA that proves you owe, they'll go away. thats why they've used a powerless DCA ...who 99% of people think are BAILIFFS a DCa is NOT. dx
