Hello forum members,

Today I got this NIP with date of 24/07/2014 and says that I have to fill it with my details and send it back to them. I read somewhere that this NIP would be only valid if I received it within 14 days since the offence was made. Can anyone explain to me if this correct ??

This is the first time I receive a NIP and I do not know how this works. The thing is that me and another friend rented a car to visit some places in England ( it was our first time) and on the letter it says that we exceeded the limit which was 30 mph and we were driving at 35 mph.

Thank you

when you fill in your details they will be able to send you your fine for speeding, theyll be able to sort your points on your licence too unless you get offered a driver awareness course instead, costs you more money but ya don't get the points usually

I can't believe I got fined for going at 35 mph when the limit was 30 mph when I was driving slower that the rest of the cars...

Does anybody have any idea of how much you get charged ??

Thanks

If they were going faster they should be being prosecuted too.

Remind me of the logic ; Why should them breaking the speed limit more than you mean you should be excused for your breaking the speed limit?
