Just once last thing, In the Prelim letter:

 

I calculate that you have taken £XXXXX plus £XXX which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £XXXXX .

 

As I am not going to add overdraft interest I am assuming this paragraph would look like this:

 

I calculate that you have taken £2345.00.

 

Is that correct...and no where in the prelim do I mention the 8% or any interest that I would like ? And the schedule does also not include the interest.

 

Ta again, sorry for all the questions, I just want to get it right

 

And as much as I have read loads and loads of post, I guess now it has got to this bit, the nervous set in for getting it right!! lol

hi ops yes thats correct leave the overdraft piece out and no mention of 8% just dates charges and charges as notified on spready and dont worry about asking to many questions its better to ask then get it wrong

Delete any part of the letter that isnt relevant to your claim.

 

And please do ask questions. It is important you do, as mistakes now once you file will cost money to fix.

Yup I sure did....that is so much money they took and only since Jan 03, and most of the time I was on benefits, with probably only 6 months where I wasn't claiming some sort of benefits too. No wonder I struggled so much.

 

Made me laugh on the last page of the statements, they gave me total amount of received and outgoings, shame I needed to live, would of had a tidy sum there alone! But even more interesting the difference between the two roughly equals all the charges!

 

Thanks SSL, I deleted parts I didn't need in the prelim, but added a bit about benefits and changed the wording about defaults, being I don't think I have one, but you never know!

 

Will send it tomorrow, as hubby printing off prelim and the first three columns of spreadsheet for me today! Thought it was easier just to copy the three colums and put it in a new spreadsheet and then set print area! He can't make a mistake then, I hope!

Pfft husband forgot to print them, so going to be Sat or Tuesday before posting....hope he remembers tomorrow... or I will be at the libary doing it!

Response to LBA received on Monday (22nd). Just saying normal blurb...OFT this Oft that.

 

Next is N1 I think...so will put that in week after next once I get my bonus cheque (now it starts to cost me).

I might put off doing the N1 for a month.

 

I tackled the one for Capital One today, and it did my head in....and I have to say it did get me down, all the posts say how easy it is, but I didn't find it easy at all.

 

Although maybe the banks one is easier as it is the standard 8%.
