Urgent Help Needed re Court Bundles

Still no reply from Kate Ashton from Barclays. I can't even pick the phone up and speak to them because this is my brother's claim and they probably won't speak to me. I am waiting to see how his pans out before starting mine, have all my statements ready and waiting.

 

Anyway, does anybody know where I can get hold of terms and conditions from 1993? x

There are people on here cogley that have spoken to the litigation team on behalf of someone else, you've got the claim number its worth a try

I think I will do that, thanks. I've got a huge pile of photocopying for my bundles sitting in front of me and I'm not looking forward to it at all!

I never had any of this with Halifax, they acknowledged the claim saying they were gonna defend and then put the full amount in my bank account.

 

What stage are you at?

I received my notice of transfer and defence this morning so i'm waiting on a court date now.

Hi Volks23! No word from Kate and I'm going out of my mind today, the bundle has to go off by tomorrow and I can't find the relevant terms and conditions, I've asked on here but there's no reply to that too. Am I supposed to start a new thread or continue on this one?

 

I was thinking of phoning Kate but this isn't actually my claim, I have been doing it on behalf of my brother. I would get him to ring Kate but he is useless on the phone. TipsyonBacardi says ring anyway, what dya reckon? Dya think they will talk to me about it with it not being my account?

Thanks tipsy and thanks for helping me put my fairy on even though she has got big feet. I will give it a go, I'm just trying to build up the courage, maybe I should stop reading this website for a few minutes before I ring cos I just keep reading more and more things and confusing myself.

I would call them. The worst they can say is they will need to talk to your brother but it might jog them into looking at the file and offering a settlement. I have heard nothing with regard to my case but will call them Monday if no joy over the next few days.

 

With regard to the t&c's I called the gerneral call centre number to request a copy of the t&c's and they sent me them to me in the post but for 05/05 not 01. Not sure if these will be any help to you but I can photocopy them and post them to you. I would fax them but after today I won't have access to a fax machine until next monday. You could try pm a mod but not sure which one will be the best.

Saintly1 has T&C I think but not sure when from, you could give her a shout, i'm sure she'll be on later.

As for ringing them just give them the claim number and dont mention it not being your claim if they dont lol.

Hi, anyone there to help me? Still no contact from Kate Ashton, emailed her again yesterday to say I was sending my court bundle and I was disappointed not to have received a response blah blah blah and I was including my emails in the bundle to prove to the court that I had made every effort to settle this matter amicably blah blah blah.

 

I have to take the bundle to the court by 4:00 pm tomorrow and I have everything except the T&Cs which is the basis of Barclays defence. Do they have to be dated 1994 or can I download the ones off Barclays website? I am in a mad panic now, all help will be greatly appreciated x

If you want terms & conditions, go to www.archive.org

Type in barclays.com in the web address box search & it will then bring up the years available 1998 is the earliest, you should then be able to find terms & conditions for that year.

It doesn't sound like you'll need them but if you do.
