Hi Karen

When you sign up for PPI it's normally added to the loan upfront. On the loan they have added about £4500 for insurance which is very expensive.

It is posible to claim this back if you believe you were mis sold. One common complaint is that the insurance may have been offered as a condition of your loan. If this is the case, then there is a clear case of mis selling, and it should be paid back. Another one is due to ill health. If someone has a condition not covered in the small print, then it can be claimed back. They never seem to ask medical questions when filling out insurance forms. I have'nt had questions about any conditions i may have. Mind you being a Pilot they probably assume i am fit, and don't bother with the questions. It does involve lots of letter writing. Have a look at the PPI forum on the main forum page.
