I am looking into this on behalf of a friend of mine who doesn't have the confidence to deal with this herself!!! As the debt has been sold on, presumably at a tiny fraction of the balance, then she should be able to negotiate a full and final settlement figure. However, this account has been running along for about 6 years, with her paying about £25 a month off the balance and never missing a payment. Any ideas as to how to help??

problem is they tend to ignore that as well

 

 

i often put

 

"Please provide me with the copy of the alleged agreement in 14 days or written confirmation you are unable to do so."

 

They ignore that too lol

As long as you have proof they receive it it counts very badly against them when the complaints are made. 14 days is a reasonable request

Do not phone these arogant idiots under any circumstances.

If they have a legitimate reason to contact you, they will write to you. If they call you again refuse to go through security questions and say "everything in writing".

Hi here had a letter from eos solutions yesterday acting on behalf of their client ATLANTIK F.GMBH for grattan has any one heard of these people, they are chaseing me for a debt that has been sold on which i did not know about sound a bit suspect to me

I had the same letter, I CCA'd them and got a letter back saying its now closed and passed back to their client.

 

Mine is Freemans and am getting nowhere with EOS, gits!!!
