Before joining the site i had been stung by a £23 for an unpaid direct debit from t-mobile. Now i have joined and done a bit of reading round i intend to claim this back-along with the bank charges curtosy of Lloyds TSB.

Along with the £23 from tmobile i also got the usual £40 from Lloyds: a total of £63 for a £30 phone bill!

Rang them up today and the guy on the phone just didnt have a clue how to respond to my suggestion that the charges were unlawful. he gave me some spiel about the contract i had signed agreeing to the charges, to which i said that if it was an unlawful contract i signed then it was not valid anyway!

I was told that someone would get back to me within 3 hours-that passed 10 minutes ago.

I would strongly recommend against joining tmobile, although from what ive read they (phone companies) all seem to be as bad as each other.

just got off the phone to tmobile, all they kept saying was that i had signed the contract and that i was bound to it.

I actually spent about 10 minutes explaining how if the contract was unlawful then it didnt mean anything, the guy couldnt get his head round it and he was in some sort of position of authority.

going to write a letter instead im getting fed up or the droids on the tmobile phonelines.
