My mum has just got bank statements going back to when she first opened her account with the Halifax in August 1995. I have just gone through over 300 pages marking off all these charges.

Can she claim these or must it be a 6 years maximum?

Thanks.

Kev,

I have successfully claimed back more than 6 yrs but it is down to personal choice. Some people have claimed within the 6 yr limitation successfully, then pursued pre-6 yr charges as a new claim.
