Mind you, fee of £39 for a letter

0.50p envelope and paper charge

£1 postal charge

£5 petrol and parking costs to drive to post office

£32.50 time spent on letter at £16.25 per hour

Would the judge deem that fair charges?!?

Love the way you've edited this one due to spellin, dude. That's the sort of thing I do!

Cheers for that, i had a good read.

My thinking is that as long as i can justify that my fees are in true representation of the costs then i have a case.

It's not like my letters will be the same standard bog off letter they send out, mine will be thought about and personalised. Time is money!

Anyway i'm going to draw up some terms and conditions of my claim and fees associated. Nothing to lose as the closed the account last year!

I'll post on here my T & C's.

19/02: S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) sent to A & L

20/02 S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) sent to HBoS

20/02 SAR sent to Capital One

LOL, not quite yet!!!

Mind you i still know the manager of my local branch from when i used to work there.

Have decided upon £25 per letter but being a resonable type of man i won't charge them for the prem letter! I can break this amount down to be seen as a reasonable fee quite easily if i have to by any judge.

Now if it has to go as far as filing a N1 or MCOL then it will have to be £200.

Well worth a go, lost count on how many times i got charged and how many times they "reserve the right to vary their terms and conditions and charges"

I could even write on the T & C's that i deem my charges to be fair and competitive in comparison to charges other ORGANISATIONS charge!!!!

LOL

my statements were promised by letter by 21/3/07 and received them on 16/3 so hopefully you will get yours soon.

Now I have the long job of going through them all but sure it will be worth it:grin:
