Ok, just moved starter thread...Initial letter requesting bank account data sent yesterday.........Bit nervous now but happy in the knowledge that I am amongst others doing the same thing..and it's very encouraging to see the successes!!

I just hope I'm doing the right thing..I started this process about 6 months ago and chickened out at the 'take us to court then! and by the way find someone else to bank with!' stage.

So here we go again!

Ok, statements arrived today..in 40 different envelopes!

Postman had a bit of a laugh!

Curiously I received a letter on Saturday telling me that my statements were on the way to enable me to reconcile my bank charges..blah..blah..You may now wish to proceed with your claim for reimbursment of charges and if you require further statements do not hesitate to contact us....

Is this a bit of a turnaround for LloydsTSB?

Well just had a phone call from the wife and LloydsTSB have offered a full and final settlement of £750!!

I was only claiming £840 so I'm looking at this as a victory (as I didn't even get to the court stage) and taking the money and running!!!

It just shows that once more it certainly pays to take them on.
