Hi,

I have an overdue invoice sent to another company. I have recently sent the letter before claim and received a response stating they will pay the invoice but deducting costs from it to pay their sub-contractor.

I will be going for the full cost of my invoice so I was wondering if I receive half payment before I file the claim, does this start the process over again so send more overdue invoices with part payment taken off or do I just continue with claim but at the lower amount.

Thanks

Continue with the claim at the lower amount but allows them to pay whatever possible in order to reduce the value of your claim and your court costs

Court claim issued.

No defence has been filed

but received part payment today, today is the last day before I can ask for a judgement.

The bill is only part paid, what would my next step be?.

Do I continue asking for a judgement but at a lower amount

other party messaged me directly.

I am determined to get full payment.

Do I continue with the judgement deadline and ask the courts to make a judgement or do I have to start the claim all over again?

Thanks

If the claim hasn't been completely satisfied then apply for judgement. If there is an opportunity in the application for the judgement (I can't remember) to say exactly how much the judgement should be given for, then clearly you put in the appropriate figure.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
