HI,

I have received a 'Formal Notice of an intention to file a default' from the RBS with the 28 calendar days running out TODAY!

I have been in the middle east for 5 weeks and have just seen this letter.

Can I ask for an extension to respond? If so, do any templates exist to help?

Thanks

I don't imagine that there is the slightest thing you can do. It is amazing to me that you even got a warning about it.

Check your credit file. You might even find that the default is already on there.

If you have a valid dispute about the subject of the default then of course they would be breaking information Commissioner's guidelines to place the default on your credit file. But that has never stopped anybody yet.

whats this your joint OD?

or another debt with them?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
