Hi,

We have received a parking charge notice letter from a parking eye company. The car was parked on the 13th December , but the notice from the parking eye company is dated 5th January 2016. Can anyone advise if the notice has a limitation period from when the offence occurred as their letter has taken 23 days to be issued?

Thanks.

they have 12 dyas to issue and 2 dats to serve. If they are outside this time then no keeper liability. If they write again tell them this in no uncertain terms by letter.

Nice one.

Hi Thanks for replies. Is the 12 days to issue and 2 days to serve set out in a code of practice for parking operators? I have looked around the web and cannot find anywhere detailing these time limitsThanks

To enable keeper liability then they must follow schedule 4 of the POFA 2012.

That gives the time frames for receiving a NTK.
