Hi there people,

I'm very new to forums and stuff so please excuse me if I'm not doing it correctly.

I Have recently applied for my bank to repay the charges that are owed to me due to the extortionate amount they charge for being overdrawn etc. I have sent a few letters now and They have offered me a settlement figure for the 2 accounts I am claiming for. Naturally I declined and asked for the payments in full.

They have now sent me another letter stating that they will not pay the full amounts and i would be foolish not to accept the offer offered!

What shall i do now? Do I send another letter or do i go straight to the online court? If I do go to the online court does my claim include any issues under the Human Rights Act 1998? Also do I want to reserve the right to claim interest?

Thanks in advance

Feaga

It's your choice, but if you carry on you will get it all back as long as you prepare yourself properly by reading up on the FAQs and the bank's forum. The case doesn't affect your Human Rights so don't tick that option.

Thanks for the reply, The other thing is the fourteen days i've given to them to respond is up on the 15/11/06. I'm pretty short on funds to make the claim against them online. Does this matter or will the bank think i'm all talk and no action. Or would it be ok to go ahead with the claim once i have clear funds to pay for the court charges at the end of November.
