Hi

Now the government has introduced fines for all those who take their children out of school in term time it has left families having to pay massive differences in holiday costs and also leaving some families not been able to take their children on holiday at all.

There are also the many families who have set times of the year they can take their holidays.

It used to be you were allowed 10 days holiday during term time which their was nothing wrong with that system at all now the only winners out of this are the holiday companies and government.

Please sign the petition below it doesn't have long left.

No point signing it. It has already had an official response.

You can still sign it as the reply says. But it will only be considered for discussion.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

Fine = £50, inflated holiday price for school holiday time = £500 extra.

Just budget the fine in to the holiday budget and go in term time. £50 is a lot cheaper than £500. The system is flawed.

Every petition that reaches over 10k sigs gets a response

If it gets over 100k it will be considered for debate as is everyone that gets over 100k sigs

An official response is standard government crap like everything else

I agree ashmk, many do but it is the fact the government thinks it is acceptable for families to pay the extra or not have an holiday at all
