DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi Guys, just called the PPI line at HSBC, i was told that my information has not been reviewed and it will take them some time. when i asked how long it will take to havhe a response (bearing in mind that all the info was sent and received by HSBC on the 6th of Feb 2013) he said that he could not tell.Question - is this normal response? should i be concerned? should i take any further action (if yes - what sort of action?) Cheers Red

Hi dx, thanks for your reply, thats what i thought, since the info was received by them on the 6th of Feb - since its the 6th of April, clearly they have had 8 weeks to review and respond.

Should i write to them and ask for clarifications? or should i just wait?

cheers

Hi All, finally some success!

the good folk at hsbc finally managed to answer back in regards of my PPI claim, but still i'm perplexed,

instead of one letter of response i received two on the same day,

one dated 2nd of April and

the other dated 4th of April.

the 1st letter - read, complain is upheld (i was smiling sooo much it made my day!) and we are offering you £2,755.13 to close the matter.

The second letter dated teh 4th of April read - complain upheld (again i was smiling) and we are offering you £7,000 to close the matter.

as both letters have the same refernce in regards to my personal loan.

So the strange thing is the 2 letters one with an offer of almost £3K and the other for £7K - i felt confused,

so rather than just accept, i rang the PPI complaint resolution officer,

and just very amicably mentioned the two letters and frankly i wanted to know which one of the two offers was actually valid.

the chap on the other line puts one on hold, comes back and says "Sir none of the offers that have been sent to you are valid" i was ready to blow a fuse at that point.

before i had the chance the hap puts me on hold as he wanted to review something,

few seconds later and he goes " actually sir your correct offer is £12,411.01" i was gob-smacked!

At that point i just said send everything through the post please

- and he said it was sent on the 8th of April to your home address,

and indeed on the 11th of April i found the letter with the compensation offer,

but it was for £14,100.00 and not £12,411.01.

i'm not too sure what to make of all of this,

to be fair, should i keep quiet and just grab the 14K? or are HSBC holding back on actual true ammount that i should get back.

i mean the size of the loan was 8K and they are raising their compensation offer by the day.

look forward to hear your thoughts CheersRed
