Did you make any claims on the PPI at all?

How did you take out the PPI, tickbox on application, face to face meeting etc?

What is the state of the loan at present, has it been farmed out to a DCA?

Never claimed on it no but the debt was sold to barclaycard, who farmed it out to acr, who i pay a token payment of £1 to every month. i took the loan out in 2005, origional ammount was £6.194.25 inc the PPI and balance atm is £3.123.19. I agreed to the PPI on a phone call following internet application iirc

I have done exactly this with a Tesco Loan, they have upheld my claim and stated that the repayment would be paid onto the outstanding balance.Mine is still owned by Tesco and that was exactly what I was hoping them to decide/do. Just waiting for them to actually do it now.

I would download the FOS questionairre and if you have the payments then use the spreadsheet on here to tell them exactly how much you expect themto pay back - mine was within £75 of the amount I claimed and to be honest I couldn't see the point of arguing over that so accepted it.

there are far more knowledgable people than me here who I am sure can help if you need it.

YES!!

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
