Hi

iv been a customer with perfect homes for 3 years. I have had enough of them. They constantly ring me trying to get me to buy more... they told me my couch was finishing and did i want something, only when i rang back the week later it was actually my tv stand (a big difference from £17 a week to £2 a week item)

My laptop broke and i had to pay the £100 excess??? then when i got it back it had £36 receipt in box from dell, i was told , they had to pay £80 to send it? and therefore had to pay the full £100 excess.

I enquired about a xbox 4 weeks ago(for my mum) and was told i could have a 2nd hand one - which ment id pay £760 for a second hand console!

My partner has recently left me and im struggling to pay and was wondering if any one had advice as they wont take lower payments but yet phone once a week asking to get something - was told " hi gem, uv got a laptop finishing soon, do u want to add? me"whens it finishing" PH "48 weeks" are they real?????

~I also moved home and they changed my address without any proof.

They are ridiculous

im a mum on benefits

they the sold me products i couldnt really afford and now are hounding me for payments

sorry to say but they can swivel for any payments

they are not getting another penny out of me

paying the important bills n putting food on the table is more important

and they cant take goods back without a court order

and they are not allowed to visit your property by law without an appointmwnt

if they dont have your permission just ignore door

if they come they soon get fed up n leave you alone

i changed my number n it really annoyed them

they use scare tactics saying the phoning police

but police dont get involved

i been in contact with citezens advice they told me to stand my ground

and do not give the goods back as i will still have the debt to pay

Very easy solution - give goods back and use money for important bills and put food on table (the money you didn't have spare when you bought the goods)

There's no pint giving the goods back as you still have the contract to pay as though you still had the goods

Sound advice :-

They are ridiculous

is this relative to OP's situation ?

they the sold me products i couldnt really afford and now are hounding me for payments

The very nerve of someone trying to get payment owed

they are not getting another penny out of me

Have they actually had any ?

paying the important bills n putting food on the table is more important

than going buying more stuff with money not available !!!

i changed my number n it really annoyed them

did they phone and tell you that ?

So don't come with your clever remarks ok as though your all high n mighty above the rest of us!

It's hire purchase so I'd check your facts, and replying like that to someone trying to offer you friendly advice, you'll not get many people trying to help you...

If in doubt, contact a qualified insured legal professional (or my wife... she knows EVERYTHING)

Or send a cheque or postal order payable to Reclaim the Right Ltd.

Locutus, if you read other posts on here it is clear that laureneton2011 is using this site purely to brag about running up high levels of debt with Perfect Home (and probably BrightHouse et al.) and refusing to pay on the grounds that they shouldn't have offered her so much credit as she's a single mom on benefits and couldn't afford the repayments. This site is about offering help to genuine people struggling with debt or underhand DCAs - not for the blatant refusal to pay for goods.

Poor showing.

Yeah, well said bigshoes...bigsocks.... !!!!

It does appear Laureneton2011 likes to spout off about her experiences and how she brags how she avoids payment (even getting her partner to say she has left and took the goods - See post #3 in "I despise PerfectHome") :-x.

I'm a mother of two young boys and work full time in a standard pay job, have to pay a childminder and bills etc and I don't have half the goods being listed in these posts. Don't get me wrong, I've been tempted to use Brighthouse but reading these, if nothing else, has totally turned me the other way and I'd rather sit on orange boxes than use these people.

Thank you CAG, you're doing a fantastic job! :thumb::thumb:
