Hi, I recently applied for a cccs debt management plan.

I owe natwest £750

Minicredit 150

wonga 116

quickquid 518

They say I will have to pay £138 a month, which I'm happy with.

But, will these companies accept? I'm not sure minicredit will and I'm worried.

I also don't have all the statements to send off which they require.

Do I need to set up a new bank account?

Also, when I send my letters to these companies, can I mention I've moved house since, and give them my new address?

many thanks for any answers, just want to be able to live again.

Who requires the statements? CCCS or the PDL's? If its the PDL then tell them to get lost. If its CCCS, write to the PDL and ask for a statement of account. Be warned though, PDL's will throw on a lot of excess and unjust charges and interest.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

Jesus, really?

I don't know what else to do other than this DMP tbh, I'm really struggling and depressed. I can bump the £138 up £100 in July, should speed the process up.

Never messing with them again though, lesson well and truly learned. In about 12 months it should all be gone, my credit rating will be bad but I don't want any more loans I want to be able to live on what I'm paid and become self sufficient.

edit: and CCCS requires the paperwork I think.

also, I bank with natwest and they're gonna become part of my dmp. Silly question really but I do need a new bank account right? Shame because I'm happy with them otherwise.

Natwest are your main priority. PDL's can take a running jump compared to that. I would advise getting a separate bank account and move your income to the new one, and pay the bills from the old one. Let natwest know, and assure them that the money for their repayments will be in there without fail by the specified due date.

Yes. They are classed as a High Priority debt. Certainly a lot higher than the PDL's.

For example, the PDL on the scale of repayments is on the same level as say your ISP bill.
