Hello

I just want to ask someone, which payday-loan shall I choose? I've been reading the forums before n well I lost my faith in them :D I really need a 100£, I am pretty sure I can pay back it on next week's Friday, but I am afraid of the xtra fees n whatever else can come... I was thinking about the xxx or the xxx... Or is there any other option?

Please help!

TA

Why do you urgently need £100 - if it is to repay a debt then don't - borrowing money to repay money is a bad move.

There is no other option other than asking friends/family.

None of the current PDL lenders have a good record, and xxx and xxx are brokers for other lenders, so you will be asked for money up front.

Think again as to why you need the money so desparately, if you are short of food or other essential items have you tried a local food bank - or if you are in employment can you ask your employer for an advance?

You will not be repaying £100 anyway, you will be repaying £145 or maybe even more.

Why would anyone be tempted to get one after reading about them on here?

Dunno... Hope maybe? :D Well I need it to pay my rent, because if I am late, they charge me 25£ and I got a bad score as well, so it is easier if I pay this 25£ to the lender innit?

Thanks Cebs... we seem to be getting a little spate of newbies asking 'odd' questions like this, if they HAD read the forums they would know none of them are any good at all.

All of the issues what I was reading was like late payment or they did not paid it or whatever! I just want to know, if I would pay it in time, is there any more extra charges than they advertise?

Hi mbvash

To be honest I REALLY wouldn't go down thepayday loan route. So you can not afford to pay your rent, is that private, housing association or council?

If you borrow, you will have to repay an extra £30 or so as well as the £100 you borrowed. Won't that make you short for your rent next month? Then you will borrow £150, month after it will be £200. Look I have been there and done that and got in a right pickle.

If it's only for less than 2 weeks, could you talk to your landlord, pay what you can and the extra £100 a week on friday?

Payday Loans are really not the way forward even though they can look very appealing.

Oh and don't think "I can cope, it won't happen to me" as there are forums all over the internet with people having PDL problems. If you miss your payment they make your life hell and boy do I mean hell. They phone you several times a day, email you, txt you, and thats every day and they keep adding charges.

I borrowed £100 from Wonga , missed my payment and before I could blink they had charged me nearly an extra £300.

I am taking you at face value, please do not prove me wrong. Unlike some I will give you the benefit of the doubt .

Until you mess it up and take out one after the other and end up with payday loan debt in the thousands.

If you choose to get payday loans then i seriously wish you good luck ;)

Is that a fact? I am sure that I have seen contracts with penalty clauses in which may or may not be illegal I really don't know. If it is a fact , it would be interesting to know what piece of legislation or court judgement would you quote?

this thread is a wind up,no landlord either private or local authority can charge you 25 quid for being late with your rent,Fact

People are too quick to shout for censorship or removal of posts on here. Ok rules are rules, however removing posts because we don't like or suspect the motives is the thin end of the wedge. The references to companies have been removed, isn't that sufficient

Ok no doubt were wasting time on this post time to ignore poster or get it banned

Indeed we don't.

We do not come on here to be vilified, judged or censored.

To be honest it doesn't matter if it's a wind up or not, by giving good advice it may well help someone else.

another thing, the question that appears to be asked is not always the real question.

get a grip jon1965 and stop being horrible we dont come on here for that ok

Lol

I am glad we agree ....The only people I would "have a go " at are those that want to silence others. On a forum like this, there should be no such thing as a stupid question, there should be no such thing as an ego. We should all be here to learn and help each other. I am a bit confused by why you said get a grip...but maybe a public thread is not the place to discuss it.
