Hi there,

i took out a cap one card in March 2004 and have been paying some kind of PPi since then. Can anyone advise of how I start the process of claiming it back. I still have the account active.

Thanks

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi

Ok...you'll need to send a Subject Access Request (SAR) to Cap1 to get them. There is a template in the CAG library, the link to which is at the top of every CAG page in green. There is a statutory fee of £10 payable (pref by Postal Order) and they will have 40 days to comply.

From the information that comes back you will be able to prepare a schedule of claim (SOC) and move forward with the PPI reclaim.

Send you SAR recorded so you know that they get it 'cos you can track delivery on-line.

Regards

ims

Right ok, I will prepare this at the weekend. I was very foolish finacially when I was younger but I have made huge steps to repairing the damage. I am spurred on by my recent success of a ppi reclaim from the parasites known as Welcome Finance £1k plus! Thanks for the guidance IMS!
