What detail do you have on the alleged debt,

have you ever had accounts with Lloyds, current account or credit card (s)?

When a debt is sold on by the original creditor

the debt is settled by the sale/purchase, so the

credit file reflects this.

It seem to apply to all the accounts you have

mentioned.

THe account show settled on the original account, but

the new owner of the debt up dates the default.

I would suggest that you put all the outstanding accounts

in date order and list what is owed to each one, and at what

stage the collection action has reached, but if the debts

are unsecured they are not priorities.

The Lloyds accounts show settled as they have been sold and will now show under the

new owners name, you really need to organise the accounts relevant to those defaulted

and sold on, and those defaulted and still in the hands of the original creditor.

So you can come to terms with what is owed.

Too true the barstewards can't have what you

haven't got.

If it did go that far opt for the small claims mediation route

no CCJ is recorded, but your'e a long way off that.

  • 3 weeks later...

They can't just get a judgement in

default, they have to issue a claim

and only if you ignore the papers

don't acknowledge service, or

don't enter a defence, or don't

attend a hearing then they can

apply for a judgement.
