ex hubby going bankrupt will daughter lose the house

my step daughter has been divorced for about 6monts she still lives in the marital home with her 3 kids youngest 6 years

 

the mortgage is in both there names he hasn't worked for years she does house worth about 75k morgae 90k so in negative equity

 

her ex is now demanding everything in the property that was bought from a catalogue they used to have because this catalogue was in his name some of the stuff has not been paid for as both stopped payments when they split

 

he is now threating to go bankrupt if she doesn't hand over the stuff he wants

 

what will happen to the house if he carries out his threat will the official receiver take it

If he goes bankrupt and the property is in negative equity the OR will not be interested in the house. Your daughter will be able buy her ex-husbands beneficial interest in the property from the OR for £221. This £1 for the beneficial interest and £220 legal fees
