I have just received a refund letter from Hoist Finance, saying account was closed Nov 2018, but they continued to receive payments after this date? I have never made any payments to this company, however after some digging I notice that they do deal with Black Horse Finance and Barclaycard. We had an IVA which encompassed debts from these companies, which was successfully closed in Apr 2020, could the debt have been closed in Nov 2018 and payments continued until Apr 2020? I have contacted them via e-mail requesting original creditor and refund amount, but they have insisted I call them, wanted detail before I called them? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
