hi dont know if anyone can give me some advice, my partner has an account with capital one and currentley owes £7108.00 she is currently on a payment plan,no interest is being added at the min. however ever since the date she took out the card she has had a plattinum card with a limit of £7200.00. when she got stopped in the local shopping mall by capital one to fill out the application form she was accepted but she was only 20yrs old, she is now nearly 27yrs old but within a few month of getting card she was up to her limit, and has been since, ive heard from a friend that to be able to open a platinum accout you have to be 21yrs old, just wondering where she stood and if possible to get a copy of the orginal application form and contract, talk about irrisponsible lending!!!!!!!

Hi,

Initially, I would CCA Cap1. Letter 8 here

The Consumer Forums - Debt collectors

See what comes back and then we can advise.

Send the request by recorded delivery with a £1 postal order. We don't advocate signing the CCA request but some creditors are refusing to supply without one so she could sign it but make it slightly different but identifiable or use signguard.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor
