Helious the forums allow even pub mechanics but thats not to say they should be viewed any differently....CAG is not here exclusively for BMW trained technicians.

I invited you to spell out any concerns.

You can do that by reporting them via the triangle.

Alternatively you can email me [email protected]

But please dont be posting here that you smell a rat - its not really fair to anyone.

I agree with Heliosuk. It sounds very weird. Maybe the OP is trying to get out of paying for the service, loosing all faith after a windows adjustment that you aint happy with is just another ploy to get out of paying. BMW dealer or not, at least two of us have not been fooled.

Nervo maybe you can report further on Monday-and try to explain things more concisely.

The bill which is yet to be paid is fully itemised, the oil service and brake fluid have been carried out apparently, all the dashboard indicators and service books have been stamped accordingly.

I must admit, I'd be pretty upset if someone had stamped my dashboard indicators

And how many service books does a BMW have?

The issue here as regards the post is that there is simply not enough information to make any judgement or comment. What has been posted is conflicting and in some posts is fundamentally wrong. In fact it's that wrong that I worry about it in that the OP might actually use it in their case and be made to look foolish. I appreciate it's a forum open to all and that the op has to weigh up all the information they read but this thread has an odd ring to it from the start in that it appears that there might be posts missing. I am not the only one to question this. Further, it is not possible to determine easily whether or not the garage has carried out the said work based on the info supplied as the responses assume it's an earlier type of car than actually is.

I really welcome Martins response that the OP should perhaps enlighten us as to the full tale which will then enable us to offer objective support rather than subjective.

OP, tell us the full story and you'll find the way forward very quickly.
