Advice regarding Close Motor Finance
nervo1234 replied to CJS89's topic in Vehicle Finance and Vehicle Repossessions
I am also a Close Motor Finance, file held with the Leicester Branch! The branch manager who is a lady there is one of the most unhelpful and rude people I have dealt with in my entire life. -
Well thanks for help.

Yes, I fully explained and showed the service advisor the problems on the car and he said yes, there is a fault and we can just readjust them, when collecting, showed another service advisor and he also said it's not right and said bring it back Monday. Both of my friends have the same car and they don't have this window problem. Basically it's an 2006 BMW M3 Convertible and when the door is opened, you can just literally rattle the windows by shaking them, they are not firm, there shouldn't be any give or movement at all
-
The bill which is yet to be paid is fully itemised, the oil service and brake fluid have been carried out apparently, all the dashboard indicators and service books have been stamped accordingly. My issue is regarding the window alignment, why was I called to collect the vehicle after three days and it is not ready as the fault still exists, I have to wait for a further two days now until Monday when the service department resumes. I've lost all confidence in the dealer and it is a BMW main dealer therefore you would expect the best especially as the bill presented to was £690

Could someone please help and advise.

Well the windows were supposed to be adjusted and BMW called me to say the car was ready to collect, so I assumed everything was sorted and ready to go. Upon further inspection, the windows were not resolved at all and all confidence has been lost, how do I know they've changed the oil and brake fluid? The technician would of had to carry a test before saying the car is ready for collection, upon collection, this was clearly not case. I have to wait futher 2-3 days now which is causing a big inconveince to me.

Hi, Took my car in for a main service and some other faults, they claim to have done the Oil Service and said that the other bits and pieces were fixed when they clearly were not. Told BMW and they said to come back on Monday and they will have another look at it, they have put the £720 bill on hold for the mean time. What are my rights? - Need some general advice please

Ok, phone insurance was purchased through 02 Insurance and it's added to my monthly bill. The 02 Insurance was purchased like 1-2 months later but it is definitely covered... I'm slightly confused now, when I took out the 02 Insurance surely on their system they would have seen I'm using a different IMEI iPhone so why did they not question it then? - I've got both receipts anyway...
-
I purchased it from an Apple Store, just been through everything and my original iPhone I signed up with was actually exchanged 24 hours later and replaced with a new one. I have receipts for both iPhones. I did not take out the 02 Insurance at the time of purchase, but took it out at a later date, definitely had the new IMEI number at the time of purchasing the Insurance. Is this a problem? - I have both receipts with both IMEI numbers, surely they have to honour the agreement and replace my iPhone.

Hi everyone, Hope everyone had a good new year last night and starting 2010 on a positive, unlike me I dropped my iPhone last night in a puddleits water damaged, called up 02 insurance this morning to make a claim and apparently, the IMEI number I'm currently using and the IMEI number they have on their system are two completely different numbers and therefore will not pay out. I cannot recall ever changing iPhone, when I was sold the insurance, surely the IMEI number would have been verified, they are also saying the original IMEI number was used for 1 day of my contract and then the new one has been used for the last 4-5 months. I have been paying my monthly premium of £10 since the date of purchase and cannot believe this is now happening. Could people please advise and help, much appreciated.

Does tax disc number have to be on PCN?
nervo1234 posted a topic in Private Land Parking Enforcement
Hi, I recently received two PCNs from Wandsworth Borough Council, after looking at the more carefully, the Civil Enforcement Officer failed to make a note of my TAX DISC Number, therefore is the PCN still chargeable? Many thanks.
