I think we must be lucky where I am. Most of the supermarkets are fully stocked although there was a bit of panic earlier in the week. Most of the main roads are clear too. You just have to be a bit careful driving around the side roads. Costa del Dorset.

Snowing again here, bum. I was hoping the weathermen got it wrong when it didn't materialise over the week-end and the roads were mainly manageable... Unfortunately it started earlier and I'm worried that DS still won't be able to get to school tomorrow (although school is supposed to be re-opened...)

Thankfully, it only snowed a couple of cms in the end, so the roads were more or less clear today, public transport running, school opened, so back to normal you'd think?

 

Nope. Croydon Transport told the kids' taxis not to resume the school run today. Why, I have no idea.

 

I ended up having to take DS to school myself, a 2 1/2 hours round trip, and of course doing it all over in about 3 hours.
