Basically I owe Barclays money on two accounts I used to hold with them.

I dispute both amounts as half of each are made up of unfair charges.

Surely they cant take court action against me or make demands for repayment until the bank/OFT case is finalised?

My complaint with them is frozen so why should I have to make repayments to them yet?

Any ideas on the legal around this?

Thanks

Have you filed your claim at court yet?

HAVE YOU BEEN TREATED UNFAIRLY BY CREDITORS OR DCA's?

BEWARE OF CLAIMS MANAGEMENT COMPANIES OFFERING TO WRITE OFF YOUR DEBTS.

Well if they do issue legal proceedings, you defend using your right of 'Set off'

You'll still owe half, but hey ho.
