Hi

I'm new to this site and trying to find an address to send my Data Protection SAR. I've had a good look around but there seems to be about 4 or 5 different addresses referred to:confused: .

This is the information I found:

Registration Number: Z5313128

Date Registered: 20 April 2001 Registration Expires: 19 April 2007

Data Controller: LLOYDS TSB BANK PLC

Address:

25 GRESHAM STREET

LONDON

EC2V 7HN

but this appears to be incorrect.

Can someone please provide me with the correct address.

Debbie

Michael is quite right. Also remember if you correspond using mail to send it recorded delivery. Lloyds will stall where possible, so don't give them the excuse of 'we never received your letter'.

Best of luck with your claim and keep us informed of what happens.

Hi

I will definitely send it recorded delivery and will make sure that I enclose the £10 cheque. Hope it doesn't bounce  or there's another charge added to my account.

On the subject of additional charges - once you've received your statements for the last 6 years and you've worked out how much they owe you - if you then incur additional charges do you just adjust the settlement figure and inform them that it has altered due to additional charges incurred since the original claim was made.

Once I've sent my SAR - do I then start a new thread so that people can view my progress.

Hi

I've just printed off the letters - to post tomorrow. Lloyds owe me approximately £1300 for the last 4 years (thats as far as you can go back online) - and HSBC will owe my partner a small fortune as he is always over his overdraft limit. The problem with HSBC is that they will still let you withdraw money even if you are over your limit - at least Lloyds stop you getting anymore money out!!

Send 1 Data Protection Act request + 1 £10 fee. Mention all a/c no's

LLOYDS TSB BANK PLC

25 GRESHAM STREET

LONDON

EC2V 7HN

Don't forget to put the different sort codes for each account. Lloyds took nearly 5 weeks to reply to mine - so you could be in for a long wait.

Good luck

Debbie

new to this and wonder if someone could possibly give me some guidance. This may sound daft but does the SAR need copying onto word or can it be printed off from the library?

Also , can the letter be sent recorded delivery to my Branch in the City centre or does it have to be sent to the head office ?

Hi,

I got here via the Jeramy Vine show on Radio 2. I had no idea this could be done and I've already printed my letter.

but I have a question about proof of ID, should we send something, like a photocopy of a passport, along with the request or will the letter enough?

Thanks

Mark.
