26/6 Return - Corset: 56.00

15/7 Credit Charge: 1.18

Closing Balance: 4.17

 

You are having a laugh???

 

£4.17 for NOTHING? Bad enough I have to pay £2.99 for the dubious pleasure of trying on a badly sized item of clothing, but credit charge? I do NOT think so!

 

Cheque going out with F&F payment of £2.99, a terse note to say close my account on receipt of cheque and a piece of my mind on their methods. Cheeky sods.

Well, this is the response I got today:

 

Dear Ms xxxx

 

Thank you for your e-mail.

 

Statement number one was sent out on 17/06/06,on your advice note it states that if you have not received your statement within twenty eight days then you must inform us, as we had no contact with you your second statement was then sent with a credit charge.

 

The balance on your account is £4.17 if this is paid by the due date then we can close your account as requested.

On my ADVICE NOTE?

 

Folks, I am one of these people who do read T&Cs, contracts and so on, but not even I would have thought for one minute of reading the advice note.

 

But if they think that's going to sway me into paying, they can think again. And that's a fact.
