"Alongside these actual legislative requirements, there has been a growth in the use of ill advised

consumer websites where disgruntled or mischievous debtors can exchange often inaccurate, but

plausible, information on avoiding payment of debts. Most lenders and purchasers see this as

merely a tactic to delay payment, but it adds to the increasingly difficult collection environment. "

BRILLIANT... Truly BRILLIANT :D

When you've had all the help you need, make sure you stick around to help others too!

Just think, if everyone left the site after they'd got their help, there might not be anyone left the next time YOU come back needing more assistance!!!!!!!

Oh dear - is Ken not a fan of his fan club then?

Would love to know what this inaccurate, but plausible" information is?

Hmm, surely he can't mean:

Statute Barred?

No enforceable CCA?

Debt consisting of unlawful charges?

Debtor not actually being the debtor?

He can't mean that, surely, afterall - Cabot holds a consumer credit license, so they wouldn't want to pursue these kinds of debt, surely?

All help is merely my opinion only - please seek legal advice if you need to as I am only qualified in SEN law.

More pearls of wisdom from Ken

So, at the half way point in 2008 - how should we feel? Overall, we are facing tough challenges, such as rogue debtors daring to ask for their CCA:eek: and refusing to pay on Statute Barred Debts but those who take a prudent approach, have suitable funding, are well organised and who have a sound track record Thats Cabot ruled out then!!!:Dshould not have too much to fear. Times are certainly changing and we are in a very different market to a year ago, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The message for debt purchasers is to keep improving and keep forging ahead; we have a lot to look forward to.Civil Actions against us, OFT Investigations, complaints under the CPUTR 2008

If only we could get the message out to the wider audience, we could sink these sharks for good, as in reality we know for every one of us that has found this site and others like it, there is probably 1000 more who don't know their rights and give in to them.

So, how much have these tossers paid the Press and the BBC to keep quiet, it does make you wonder.
